Belated Happy Birthday to our Forum

This forum was created on 10/8/2008 and is now over 14 years old.

We have activated over 1000 members over the years (many no longer active).  The members have created over 4300 threads containing nearly 32,000 posts.  Those are not huge numbers by some measures, but we need to remember that we are a very focused group and that the majority of our posts are technical related (as opposed to social chit chat {grin}).

As a founding member, I am very proud of the technical information base that we have developed over the years.

There is no doubt that this is a very valuable source of information for Eagle owners, whether they participate or not. Whenever I come across a Eagle owner on other forums asking a question, I invariably refer them to here as a prime source of information. Many thanks to all those who created this forum and maintain it through thick and thin (That's mostly you, Jim).

Thank you Jim. Over the last 14 years you have been more than generous with your time and knowledge.  The site would not exist with out you. The only thing that could have made it better is if the club could have made better use of it. It is a little ironic that all the people that didn't want to use it because of the social part are know on face book and the like.
Thank you Wayne

Wayne, you too are a founding member have been very supportive all these years.  Most of your support is in the background, but never-the-less, so very important to this group.

It will be interesting to see what the bus community digital footprint looks like in years to come.

There was a mass movement to Facebook a few years ago with two of the main groups signing up thousands of members.  Now, the traffic in these groups is rather minimal.  In a like manor, the other bus forum's traffic has slowed down significantly.  The exception is Bus Grease Monkey that seems to have a lot of traffic - a significant part of that traffic is "social"
