Wow, things got a bit more complicated. If you have dash lights and gauge lights, that suggests that the master/ignition switch is working and that the gauges have a ground. You can test that by simply touching a wire to a good clean location on the dash structure (or anywhere you can find) and then ground the gauge.

On a different site, you say that you are going to try to limp it home. You really only need two gauges (oil pressure and temperature). A volt meter would be a nice additional gauge. The other major gauge is the air pressure gauges, but they are not electric.

I would consider buying a set of aftermarket gauges and hooking them up to get you home. Unfortunately, most of the cheap aftermarket gauges are mechanical and would not easily work for a rear engine. I did a quick search for gauges with electrical sending units and this set looks like it would work just fine:

You could run the wires on the inside to the coach temporarily.

As I think more about your issue, it almost sounds like someone had unhooked or cut the wires to the gauges. That could be a challenge to find.

You could also check the gauges by starting the engine and with your voltmeter check to see if the resistance changes with the engine running.

Josh you would need to install the sensors in the block and then run the wires to the gauges up front. The voltmeter could be hooked to anything with power when the switch is on.

Depending on which engine you have, we could probably help you find locations for the sensors. It is possible that you have a set of gauges in the engine compartment (many Eagles do) and you could trace where they go and insert the sensors in that location (or maybe install a "T" for both sensors.

If you don't feel comfortable installing the gauges, I suspect you could hire a mobile mechanic.

Okay, here are some pertinent pages from my 1984 Model 10 Maintenance Manual, which has multiple three page foldouts that show every bit of the electrical system. The five pages here show the gauges portion. Unless someone brutally changed wires, the original wiring is all color coded and numbered according to these charts. Rather than just copying each page I photographed them in HD. You can click on them to zoom in thanks to the picture handling qualities of this site (not found on some other forums). Page 5 is the first picture, page 1 is the last. I hope this helps.
