Rear corner doors

On the curved aluminium, is it possible to curve it or are they special pieces?

I don't really want to put old doors on they are all pitted

Mason, I don't have direct experience on this, but I think you can form to aluminum. Wayne has direct experience and I hope he jumps in here.

I would try a scrap piece. I would make a buck or use a big log to control the radius.

Mason sorry for the late reply something was wrong and I couldn't reply. Anyway the way I did it was make a good form with a slightly smaller radius than the bus. the form should be made so you can use clamps on both sides. With a little heat and a lot of muscle you can form the aluminum. It will spring back a little. The piece should be a little longer than you need so you can trim it. Then with the use of clecos ( sp ) drill and fit the piece to the bus before you rivet. If you need some clecos for the price of shipping both ways I will send you some. That method works for sheet goods. Don't use heat on the fluted stuff it will mess with the anodizing. With a solid form you can bend it by hand.

Ok thanks Wayne.

Good to know about the anodizing.

Might have to take up your offer on the clecos. I will let you know.
