Wayne Schell and I are trying to piece together a few more details. We went with Dave to view the project. The conversion was done by Tony Fisher who was well know for a very high level of bus conversion quality.

We are pretty sure that we recall that the extra 2 feet of length was added to the rear of the bus so that the engine could be centered in the frame and the drop box eliminated. We also believe that a truck rear end was installed which allowed proper gearing with the HTB741 transmission. That is an excellent, robust combination.
