I have been contacted by a couple of folks who asked if they could drop in and visit with the attendees and maybe scope out a few buses. Both are interested in buying Eagles.

I assume that we will handle this as we have in the past and welcome visitors. Obviously the attendees have paid for some activities which would not include visitors. However, there will be lots of time when folks are just kicking back and would love to visit about their buses.

Visitors will need to pay the park fee. Hotels should be available in nearby Ogallala.

I wanted to bring this to the top for a couple reasons.

First of all, we have several new members who might not be aware of this rally. Registration is closed, but anyone is welcome to attend as a visitor. The post above has some thoughts on visiting the rally. If you are new to Eagle ownership or are thinking about buying one, there is no better place to learn a ton of information and pick the minds of some very experienced folks.

Secondly, there may be one registration available. Sadly, I have been dealing with some issues on my bus (not major - I hope). However, I have a rather hectic schedule between now and the rally and I am not sure that I can finish the work on the bus.

If you are interested taking my place, please post it here and maybe we can work something out.

OK Folks I have been posting incorrect map information based on an early post.

Here is the correct information:

Campground: Lake Ogallala Campground

GPS: 41.225749, -101.661990

Directions prepared by Mel Legg:
Turn off I-80 Exit 126 on Hwy 61 N. Stay on Hwy 61 through Ogallala while climbing a steep hill exiting Ogallala. Keep going north till intersection Hwy. 61 and Hwy. 26. Stay to your right to stay on Hwy. 61. In about 3 miles, you will cross Kingsley Dam. At the north end of the dam is where you make a quick right turn and follow bus rally signs.
Attached is a JPG of the Google Map and directions from the town of Ogallala to the campground.
Directions to campground from Ogallala.jpg
You should be able to enlarge the jpg to get more detail.

Sorry that we did not make it. As some of you know, Pat was in a bad UTV accident and she is still in the hospital (several days in ICU and two surgeries).

As we have said in the past, if there are no pictures it did not happen. I hope some of you will post pictures or send them to me and I will post them.
