Wayne, those are aluminum louvers off the bluebird, I modified them a little and I think they look good. At first I was going to tilt the aluminum siding but I had no way to make it look nice like factory Eagle louvers which prompted me to use the louvers off the other bus

I do believe the series 60 needs ventilation, we will see if it runs hotter with the back door on.

I am not making corner doors right now because other things need my attention such as the front door which doesn’t exist right now

We bit the bullet and got a good vacuum and sander so today I have been working on sanding and shaping rear corners. Hopefully soon I can mount brake lights in rear corners.

Also plumbing is coming along, I’ll have to get some pics of that

Long time no post...

Ill start with an update on the rear.

Completed sanding ,then painted and installed lights, which turned out to look quite nice.

Also mounted brake/turn lights in rear door. They are not tail lights, they act as a third brake light.

Also very impressive that 15k people have looked at this page. :D

More coming soon,

mason

Hi Mason

Thank you so much for continuing to post your progress.

The 15K is views of your project. A very impressive number. Some folks think this site is dead - it is not. Lots of views of all the threads. Just not much posting.

Jim

My post has pictures now. I normally type my posts on the computer, then edit them with my phone to add photos. So they may not have photos right away ;)

Here are pics of our new steer tires

Very neat tail light treatment. Is that the stock rear clip modified for the tail lights? It almost looks like you made a rear clip mold. If so, others might want one for their bus.

Tell me about those tail lights. Everyone knows I am an eagle purest but I like those.

Thank guys. The entire rear end is completely custom, based off the 01/early05 shape, but with steel and fiberglass not windows. The corners are fiber glass, middle is 18 ga steel. We briefly considered making a form for the corners, but that would of entailed a lot of extra work for something that would only fit our bus. We made the basic shape of each corner with foam, then covered in fiberglass, being somewhat meticulous to make sure they were symmetrical.

Dropped oil pan yesterday, 6 inch hairline crack was the source of the leak. Someone had tried to patch with jb weld or the like. Ordered new gasket and bushings. Hoping they’ll be here tomorrow. Also everything looks brand new underneath engine. Not sure if I’m supposed to look for anything
