How cheap Denise???? :D

Jim, the subject of video uploading has not come up. On the post/reply header I see that there is a mp3 link, but I don't know how it works. You can always upload your video to youtube and link it here but I would like find a way to allow direct up loading.

I am pretty sure I can set some types of videos that can be uploaded. I did some research this morning and the general consensus is that permitting video uploading is discouraged because of bandwidth and storage issues. Our forum is small compared to many and our storage allowance is quite large, so that should not be a problem.

Let me know what the extension is and I think I can change the settings to allow the video.

BTW, it is great to see someone converting a bus from scratch. It kind of brings back memories of the "good old days" when that was about the only option.

I don't post on any of the other boards anymore, but I read them all, and often reflect that they have really changed over the last many years. Engine conversions were often discussed but not so much any more.

Don't get me wrong, it is great when folks can buy a pre-converted bus for penneys on the dollar, but I love to see folks crazy enough to start from scratch

Denise, I told Lin when I started the second bus it was the bus or the bars. She said it was the bus. Now she is beginning to think the bars would have been cheaper. Now you will know where Jim is.

Have fun with the build

As I discussed in another thread, I gave up on trying to setup a way to upload video to our forum. Instead, I suggested that folks use YouTube.

I uploaded Jim's video to an account I created (fairly easy process) and here it the result:

Thank you Jim for the help in posting the video. I would also like to offer up a big thank you to Clifford Allen for gaskets and Michael Woody of Woody's bus repair, West Memphis, AR, for helping come up with various missing engine parts needed. My initial plans were to keep it out of the scrap yard, just too good of a bus for that! Restoring it back with Greyhound paint or cheating a little and painting it back as a "Trailways" unit would be neat.
Just think...Denise could use it for grocery trips and save wear and tear on her new car. :D
