I think the mud flap in question is one that is installed all the way across the rear. I have mud flaps just behind the tires and that's all. Not sure if helps/hurts, I've never had a cooling issue with those. The large full width flap would restrict the normal air flow, at least that's what I have heard.

That could be, Paul. There is one train of thought that says you should put a flap all the way across the bus in front of the engine. Something about creating a low pressure area in the engine compartment thereby letting the air flow better through the radiator and engine compartment and cooling it better. Clifford said that this didn't really work like that on an Eagle.

This is a quote from Clifford on another thread. "remove the flap and throw it away Eagles do not like flaps anywhere been there done that, your tempature will drop 5 to 10 degrees on the transmission and engine with out the flap."

Granted, that might be just for those all the way across flaps and just a set of mud flaps might not hurt anything.

Big Bird on the back of the coach. That is really nice, I like that. On my engine door latch I put some of this plastic cable that you wrap wiring in, and it helps to not burn your hand when you go to open that up. Mine gets really hot and if you don't have a glove on or something like that, it can give you a rude awakening, let me tell you.
