Grandbaby #9!

Post by Speck »

We are happy to announce the birth of Matthew Paul Lawry, born today, in Southern CA. This makes nine grandchildren (between Paul's kids and my kids) and we couldn't be happier. Now we have 4 girls and 5 boys! We will be needing a bigger bus - a tour bus with lots of bunks.

Anyone else have a new edition this summer you want to brag about? Babies, puppies, kitties.....

We are busy getting ready for Texas Bus Roundup beginning on Thursday. We sure are looking forward to firing the old gal up and hitting the road. Glad for the air conditioned community room at the RV park, for the heat is well over 100 degrees here and will be there in the Ft. Worth area as well.

Dats all for now. Feel free to chime right in, ladies!

CONGRATS on the new Grandbaby!!

You all really should come to Cody...we are currently at 70°F and NO humidity...you need a sweater when the sun goes down!

That was probably a MEAN thing to say to you Becky... sorry....

We will miss you at our rally. There are a few going to TBR that are heading our way afterwards, don't tell them all the bad things you know about me.......You have a GREAT TIME at the RALLY.

Thanks, Pam and Julio! It is Sunday afternoon and we are just now able to get online long enough to check messages and EI. We had a great time at the rally - even though it was miserably hot - at least everyone was sweating, not just me. The RV park has been great and very nice - about 2.5 years old, with plenty of amenities. Several took advantage of the swimming pool. We are still here in Santos because Dreamscape decided she needed to visit the friendly local mechanic - Paul can provide those details - and a part will not be in until around 2:30 on Monday afternoon. We are hoping she will be ready to roll before they close their doors at 5:00ish, but no promises. It may be Tuesday before we get to head back to Central TX. Luckily, this park had the cutest little (emphasis on the 'little') cabins and we are holded up in one with out two small dogs. Hey, the a/c works and that is the most important thing! We took a drive today and explored this part of the country and it was nice - saw a bunch of those little old towns and we are corny enough to love them. Paul celebrated his 62nd birthday on Saturday here and we shared a 1/2 sheet cake with everyone, which was a fun surprise for him. Great folks, lots of laughter, made some new friends and all those buses! It just doesn't get any better than that! Wish you and your spouses could have been here too though - that would have made it perfect. OK - back from the gathering room to our cool 'little' cabin. Later, tater! Becky
