More Pics of the Entrance and Steps
When I removed the carpet that had been there, I realized it had been hiding a lot of imperfections.
Nothing was square on the sides of the steps. The tile man with some mortar. Now everything is square.
(And because so many have asked...the speakers were there when the bus was converted.
They are for the radio and they work great!)

Hope this might encourage some of you who are wanting to do something similar on your Eagle.

NEW BAY DOOR (for old A/C Compartment)
I've been wanting to do this for a while. The door that was here before was never meant to be used as a bay. It was dangerous and I never felt safe with the way it was. I had put new skin previously over the screen that was originally here when we got our Eagle. Check out POST # 10 from this page: http://www.eaglesinternational.net/test ... 7&start=10
And of course, what I thought might be a full-day's work turned into a 23 hour project. I took to JBs on Friday - we worked 10.5 hours, then Saturday - 13 hours. The problem was that at one time in the bus' history someone replaced some of the metal in this area and they did not make sure that the opening was square and that created a MAJOR problem! It took most of Friday to get the area square and prepped for the doors. I'm real happy with the way it turned out. We still have to put the rest of rivets on the outside and complete the inside, but we both ran out of steam and I needed to get back home.

Re: Manny & Darlene's Eagle 05
Manny, Your last two updates turned out very well. Both look very professional. Keep up the good work. It is neat that you keep your Eagle in top shape. The Eagle is still the best looking bus on the road and yours certainly helps keep that alive.

Thanks Wayne I'm trying to keep the old bird alive. Eagles are one of the best looking bus out there and I agree.

ALTERNATOR MODIFICATION
I changed out the original alternator for the new truck style. This one will be so much easier to work on or replace. This modification was done by JB with Eagle Classic Coach.
