Hey Jim,
Thanks for the response. I did not know the transmissions were no longer available in the US. I do know that Volvo of Atlanta said if I ever needed anything, they could get it.

As for as the pulse generator thingy and the electricians are concerned, this is way over my head. I found this by doing some research:
Gentelmen - Freedomline will not work in auto mode w/o ABS. This TCM compares Front wheel speed, rear wheel speed (of every wheel to check for tracktion) and output shaft speed (VSS). Only comparing all this data TCM may shift in auto mode.

So if you deisable ABS ore EBS (depending on trucks and year of make), ore one ore more wheel speed sensor will not work properly you will get J1939 no all data code in your transmission and you will shift manually.

Now pull all ABS codes, clear codes, do the test drive and pull all current and stored codes (MID 136 SID/PID/PSID/PPID FMI) and I will help you.
I need to know what brand is ABS unit, what P/N. Usually there are ABS-D ore ABS-E by Wabco (Poland make, Wroclaw plant) units, but It will not be a surprize for me if there is Bosch/KnorrBremse/Bendix unit ore something more exotic.

Anyway I will help you to fix your ABS

This guy is in Uganda or somewhere and I haven't been able to get in touch with him.

William, that is a good starting point. I have downloaded the service manual to see if anything jumps out at me.

I am going to start a new thread so that we don't clobber up your project page.

Here is the new thread:

Can you see anything wrong in this picture?

I noticed the door was overlapping the siding when we purchased the coach. I just assumed it was supposed to be that way. Sonnie informed me that my entry door was out of adjustment for some reason. After sending me pictures, I couldn’t figure out why they shimmed the skin on the door out by ½ inch. He said the door was built solid and straight so he removed the shims and re-skinned it.

Image
...have no idea why this was shimmed :?:

...looking good now!!! :D

Thanks John,
I guess it's like having a giant bolder and a small hammer. Sonnie just keep on cheselling away at it. He's getting closer and closer each day. I know if it was me, I would have given up already. I love these things to pieces but I would have to pay someone to do this kind of work for me.

I look at all the other projects where they get so in depth with their issues. I try to follow along with it but again, It's way over my head. I'm still wanting to do a conversion from the ground up. I would love to find a model 15 eagle that I could add slides and and raised roof. Then I'd like to add cafe doors ect...

I'm just rambling on because I'm bored and thought I'd catch up on my project page.

It looks as though Sonnie has the bedroom back together. The engine hatch looks very nice Sonnie and Dee said thanks for not taking all of the storage space from her. All we need to do for the bedroom now is replace the tv with one of the led flat screen models and replace the two terminator tanning lamps. Lord knows I don’t need a tan  .

...sweet!!! Thanks again Sonnie!!!

...can you see the tanning bed lamps???

Well on Friday December15th, Dee and I made it out to pick Sadie up from Sonnie. We went to the Texas Roadhouse for a departure celebration with Brenda,Mike and Sonnie. After steak dinners, away we went. Sonnie escorted us to Bossier City,La where we stopped for the night.

On the way across Texas, Sonnie and I had to pick on each other a tid bit. I remember telling Sonnie that he was in his rightful place, behind the ISX. I guess he didn't take it well because he scared the beegeebees out of me when he passed. He looked like a juggernaut from hell when he roared past me.

He and momma talked quite a bit of trash about those two kitty CATS escorting the poor cummins accross the great state of Texas. i showed them that I no longer had to stay on the porch any longer!!!

After we said our goodbyes to Sonnie the next morning, Dee, Sadie Scotty, and I headed for home. Dee took a small video clip of the trip. After my editing skills and Dale's education course, here it is. It's a bit long, I hope y'all enjoy!!!!
THANKS AGAIN SONNIE

Got the YouTube code fixed. Since YouTube changed their format we had to do it a little differently.
