Hello All, I just recently purchased this 1968/67 Prototype ( 1 of 2 so the Vin# list says) about 4 months ago and I have to say these eagles are fantastic. We full time and work from our Eagle and comparring it to the 2005 Winnebego 350 cat pusher with 3 slides we used to have, this old eagle puts that plastic bucket of glue and snaps to shame. This is my first post on here so I am not too sure what to start with first but I wanted to introduce myself and my wife to all on here anyway.

Hello Moonraker welcome to the site with your Eagle. This section is used to post things about project on your bus. You can go up to General Eagle chat for general Eagle things.
But now that you have started this thread please post some pictures of your new bus and project you are doing on it.

Welcome aboard
Wayne

Hey Nick! Glad you have your project thread up and going! Did you ever find the clunking sound on your air assist? I'm real curious about the outcome.

I really like your coach and maybe one day we'll be able to meet!

Paul

Paul, in reference to the air asist, i did not do anything to it yet, however, i experimented with using the air assist as I drive rather than just for parking and turning and found that with it turned on, i can drive it almost like the Winnebego I had..(Almost  ). It feels like it has a little hump in the steering so if I ease the wheel to the hump but not going past it, it seems to do great now and i may correct about 1-2 inches now which is much better than with the air turned off which i had to constantly correct the steering. It may not be the answer but I sure enjoy driving her now.
