I will be rebuilding this announcement block in the next day or so.
While our platform software is the latest version, it would seem that we still have a less than robust site.
During attempts to resolve issues, other problems occur. The latest was a failure to accept passwords. It appears that had been resolve.
My apologies for all the problems.

Andy, That's probably were the sweet spot is. I'm guessing that it could be different on each installation due to any modifications that are made. There are several out there that don't even use a regulator, Sonnie is a good example.

I still think you have to much linkage and the pod is mounted in the wrong place no regulator may be better for you
Doyle s works good it is mount up on the front of the engine a rod and bell crank that's it
Sonnies engine air throttle works off the injection pump not the governor like on a DD a totally different a animal

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
I wanted to wait to respond to Cliff's post after another trip. We drove down to Crater Lake RV Park from Salem last Tuesday. I left the regulator at 100#, the throttle worked great. I know I have more linkage than most, but it works. I may change the method at a later date, or just leave it alone....................I'll leave it alone.
I'm pleased to report that after that journey all has worked very well. Engine/tranny temp never got over 190 on the big pulls. No leaks and all is well. I know the ambient temp was only 70 or so, but I'm still pleased!
Shifting down on the big pulls was a snap, just moved my wrist! With the old crash box, my mood wasn't the best!

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
I installed a set of air bag frames to help support the bus over the rear axle. I tested it at 40 psi on a 300 mile trip and could not believe how much better the old gal rides. They are tied to a simple regulator for now. I do plan to install separate valves for leveling at a later date. One side is a little higher than the other, which is the way it was before I tackled this job.
Next project is to add a gauge to my hydraulic jack so I can set up the suspension properly.
It raised the rear of the coach approximately 2 ", which was my goal.
I'm sure there is a better way to do this project, it's just my way of what I did.

It looks great paul.
I've never needed them, but I think they are the answer for some folks, especially the 01s.

Re: Dreamscape 1968 Eagle 01
Thanks guys!
I wish I could have taken the time to clean and paint the area properly. It took a bunch of hours just to get done what I did. I guess that's another project for another time !

Nice job Paul. Do you have the part number of that air bag?

HI Paul,
Great job on the air bag even your way. I agree with Rusty; do you have the part number for the air bag you used, is looks like a perfect fit.
