After working in a fabrication shop for a few years I got kinda used to arms being burned by welding and grinding but I swear........I don't ever remember being this sore! I'm hurtin' in places I never knew existed .

Re: Oilslick's '88 Model 20
Making some progress. I post these photos knowing that my fabrication work is not as smooth as most folks could do BUT it functions as it should and once the skin is on who's gonna know? LOL! I have done all of this by myself. I mean literally by myself. My work is flawed but again, it's functional. I can't wait to be done with this project! Why oh why did I buy this bus? Hahaha!

Re: Oilslick's '88 Model 20
I have to replace a few pieces of pitted skin. I am gonna use some used pieces since new will stick out like a sore thumb on my coach. I still have to replace the metal around the wheels on the other side but now I have a little more knowledge about it so I feel confident that the other side will turn out a little smoother than this side.

Re: Oilslick's '88 Model 20
Thanks Paul! When I bought this coach the wheel wells were completely rusted out. The skins were just hanging on by a few rivets that had managed to hang on to some tubing. I had to completely rebuild the wheel wells from scratch. I will post some "before" pics soon.

How did you get the radius on the tubing? It looks great!
