Finally!!!

This is our 1982 model 10 coach that was converted by Cauldwell Brothers. It was retitled as a 94 model 10/45. I purchased it from a private owner through Heartland Coach in 2005.

This is our second Eagle as the first one was purchased in 1997 out of the North East as a seated coach. I remember talking to a guy while in New York over a weekend, and two weeks later, without any knowledge about Eagle Buses, I bought one. I learned very quick never to buy any vehicle that has lived its life in salt country!!!

After several years of telling the better half "you're right honey...I should have listened" and "It won't happen again", she finally let me buy another one. Her only stipulations were:
...it had to be from the south
...it had to be converted
...we have to use it more than once a year
...not sink a fortune into it!!!

..."ok dear...yeah right"!!! I have kept 50% of that agreement.

We took a few trips around the south east just to get acquainted with each other. I noticed the bus was all over the road and just bounced and swayed quite a bit. I really didn't know what the problem was until I met Steve from Dahlonega, Ga. We decided to do a bit of trading. He took parts from my first "rust pit" and in return, he would do some "minor" repairs for me on my new one.

Thanks Paul, I know you know the answer to that one lol...we are putting a small fortune in it now and it's not being used more than once a year. However, when she is finished, I think moma will be ecstatic!!!

I am sitting out here in Phoenix trying to stay cool and keep from being bored!!!
