Wayne, when we bought the bus it had some siding stashed in the bays. just enough to do around the rear axles.

I bought siding from Gary in Los Vegas for rear corner doors and engine door.

On another note, I am getting efficient at soldering... :D

These side lights are dual function, running light and turn signal. I rigged power so I could see how they look, looking sharp!
Sorry it's a bad picture

Well the biggest thing that happened this week was insulation, our local guy finally had time to come out and do the interior.
Hopefully he will make it out next week and do the front cap and wheel wells.

Working on interior, back corners, and wiring

Spray foam guy nipped a bunch of wires while trimming. Grr.

Also, jakes and cruise are still not working... Still tracing everything down on that.

Can't wait to get on the road!!

Wow, you are making great progress.

I think we may have talked about this before, but the engine ECM has an input for the clutch and brakes as I recall. On mine, I had to connect the clutch wires together to make the ECM think the clutch was always engaged. If it thinks differently, it will not let cruise and Jakes work. I think your engine was programmed for an automatic transmission, so that may not apply unless there is a neutral switch that keeps the cruise and Jakes for working. Just a thought.

Jim, I checked the contacts on the computer according to the ddec manual, and the jakes check out fine. I believe they have been set with a minimum speed for activation.
That still doesn't explain the cruise, though.

Eric, yes, the budget has increased from day one.... :D

We got bluebird mirrors mounted, with slight modification to the eagle bracket to allow for the wires. Yes, new mirrors are powered and heated.
And yes, they need chrome plated.

Basil polished the rims a bit, steers turned out great , the others were just marginal.
Hopefully road test this weekend.

Did a 20 minute load test on the genset last night, all 3 roof airs on high, no problems at all and it is impressively quiet, though I am not quite done insulating the compartment.
