Clifford on the side of my shifter I have a low medium and high selector. I was told that this was for the rearend. It is currently unhooked and left in the mid gear. (This is also info that I was told by church members) There was a gentlemen at the auction who turned me on to this site that was standing there when I was told this info. He seamed knowledgeable about eagles and didnt act as if it was out of the norm. lmk what I can do to find out ezactly what I have and we will both know for sure :D

Take me a photo of the rear of the drop box and rear end also one of the transmission you may have a Roadranger transmission but you will not have a 3 speed rear end on a single drive rear end with a drop box

good luck

Sounds like a 13spd to me...wouldn't that be a tight fit?

If I get some pics of the engine towards the front of the bus will that get what you want?
I am not sure what the drop box is.

The drop box is what the drive line hooks to from the tranny. it would go motor, tranny ,drive line ,drop box.The rear end faces toward the front of the Bus and the drop box comes off of that and goes up and faces the tranny. The drive line is hook to it.

On the shifter is says 3 speed right on it and has the thumb shifter for low, mid, and high on it.
On the dash it has the sticker for the standard 5 spd shift pattern for the bus.
