My vote would be for the property with the shop :D . You can always clean it out and sell the stuff for salvage.

In either case, I hope you end up with a good shop. I have never regretted building mine. Sadly the bus sits outside at the present time while I work on my other toys.

The 40 X 80 shop would be dangerous - you would be tempted to put two buses in it! It all depends on the cost, it is usually cheaper to buy something already built. A skid steer could push all the junk out, but leave the barrel stove for heat. ;)

I have a vintage Fisher XL wood stove built in our home town of Springfield, OR waiting for a 3000 sq ft building to heat.

The price dropped again and I made an offer that was accepted. This is a pearl in the rough and will need a bunch of work.

The offer was for (1) one acre plot with a 40'x80' steel sided building, and (1) three acre plot next door with an older house. Not sure when we'll close but a cash deal so not a big deal.
