What I see at first glance: c13 is 7 inches shorter and 600 lb lighter than s60 12.7
This is a plus in an eagle.
Shorter the better!
Depends also on what Allison you have...
And you'll also hear a lot on rear end gearing... I won't join that argument. My head hurts from all the advise I have had on that topic...
Length is probably your biggest hurdle
Also, is will take a lot of fabrication to make a big engine like that fit.
I have a lot to say, but not sure where to start?
I'll send a PM

Radiator mounted
I think the stack is going to work!
Next up: driveshaft to miter box and plumbing!
Concerning the driveshaft, I need opinions about a fan clutch... I keep going back and forth, fan clutch, yes or no?
P.S. Still need to put Wayne's gusset under the miter box, lot of torque on that thing.

I thought I had commented, but I must not have sent my reply.
I noted several places where you double tubed the frame. That is a much better process than trying to spice in new tubing.

Yes, Jim, splicing the tubing does not seem strong enough from my standpoint.
The nut on the input shaft of the Dropbox was loose (i.e. I reached up and backed it off by hand after we took the 8v71 out)
So I sourced a new one, installed it today.
Took a little time...
Anyone know the torque it's supposed to have?

Since last post I have made fan shroud, almost completed fuel system, engine plumbing 90% done, replaced lots! of air lines, mounted rear levelers, and mounted muffler and exhaust tubing.
It seems like I might see it run again!
But wow, what a mess I have made!
