My dad turns 80 years old tomorrow and I thought I would post a photo of him and our pickup. He will tell you that it is not his, for he gave it to me when I turned 16 year old with an odometer reading of 12,000 miles. Dad ordered the truck equipped the way he wanted it (short bed, 454 power) 43 years ago to pull a Holiday Rambler camping trailer. I was 9 years old the day the truck was delivered, in fact, I started driving it then and drove it on my own at 15 years old to high school. It has been a joy to maintain the truck over the years and for the past 30 years or so, it has been stored covered in the garage when not in use. Yes, the paint is original and I have the factory wheels and wheel covers to put it back in its stock configuration. Happy Birthday Dad!

Jim, Please tell your dad Happy Birthday for us.
LeRoy and Anne

We are just settled in Yuma for a few days (gotta make a drug run to MX and get new glasses) we were at the EI rally in Quartzsite what a gathering if birds.
I think in the rotation of them we may have been up toward 30 or so. sent paper work with 2 of them both FMCA and EI registration. more west coast folks and we really encouraged them to have a rally out that direction.
Good times were had by all.

Jim, what a great story.

This is exactly why I created this forum.

A belated birthday wish for your Dad Jim. Please pass it on. I had the pleasure to meet him a few years ago in Branson.
