Thanks Clifford, The next time i go to Cibolo for work I will check it out.I haaave been on that 1604 road before now I know what to look for.

Andy if you get down that way stop for a night or two in Fredericksburg, nice town with lots to do. That's Adm. Chester Nimitz's home town and be sure and go to the Museum of the Pacific War, one of the best I have ever seen. Nice county run park out by the airport. Also if you go by Stevensville they have a really nice munincipal park that is usually wide open. Full hooks and they let us stay for free.

Thanks Mark I have driven thru fredricksburg before and it a nice town , i was in a Big truck and didn't have a chance to stop. And being a Navy Veteran that would be pretty cool to see. Thanks again

We stopped in San Antonio on the way home after buying our Eagle. It was great. There is a lot to do. We stayed at the KOA. I know they have a bad rep. but this place was great. The bus stop was just outside the gate and you could catch one to down town every 20 minutes. We were amazed by the public transportation, none where we come from. Helpful drivers, clean, safe, fast, really nice. Other than going to the grocery store we never drove the whole time we were there. The park was full of snow birds from Canada.

That KOA is not bad we stayed there all the time and rode buses to downtown that is the one off I 10 and 410 ?

If you missed the last bus if you called they would come pick you up ,we stay at Blazing Star now because it is only a mile from the kids house

That sounds like another good idea, I have driven in the San Antionio area and it sucks. So the riding the bus downtown thing would be nice.

Due to it being winter on the Great Plains we WILL be there. See Ya'll and those that just can't hack it so sad to bad we will miss you. AND Bob Ward have you designated anyone to bring the humor?
