Re: Sivrtnge2'S 82 Eagle Model 10
A little surprise for Bill, and Dee. It now looks like this. 5052 aluminum -125 thick, 72" wide and 39'-" long. One piece with NO seam in the middle. No leaking in the seams!!
I am now reworking the front cap for those HUGE windshields. It was broken and leaking in several places. The rear cap could not be saved. It was in pieces, as well as being pieced together. We have a new one for a model 15 that I am going to cut down.Eric Brown

Eric, thanks for the update.
I took the opportunity to go through the whole thread. It was so sad to see what a terrible job the original "professional" converter did. However, our own talented folks (the late Sonnie Gray and Eric Brown) will make this a fabulous bus!!!
I "helped" Wayne put on his siding and I can't imagine what it must have taken to get that one piece on.

Eric, how in the world did you lift that monster up there?
Looks incredible, but that much aluminum is not only quite heavy it is also a whale to handle from the decoiler to the bus.
Totally impressed by that feat.

Not really hard to handle. Two forklifts, and four guys. We welded small tabs at the bottom to hold it till stretched and riveted.
