Thanks Cindy! I LOVE how the spice rack turned out. I was worried that that the smaller and larger spices wouldn't fit but top shelf is high enough to hold the larger bottles (Like seasoned salt and our HUGE jar of cheyenne pepper), med and small bottles fit the middle shelf. I think it'll work, and like I told the neighbors, even if the spices fly, "Find the Spices" should make a fun game for the kids.

Ha! You can have it, it'll save a trip to the dump.
Send an address and we'll mail it to you. Really, we will. With an accessory pack.

Re: Jason and Stephanie's 1966 Silver Eagle 04
Ok, we got a little done today.
First we removed the inverter and converter. The converter is fried. The inverter is probably in the same shape but it's hard to test without the converter so we didn't. Instead we decided to remove the hot water heater that was behind them.
Isn't it adorable? It's like R2 D2 but without any cool abilities or noises and it's completely stationary. I lost interest quickly. (also, it makes a great stool at break-time)
This is the empty space it left behind. Please note the million wires with no apparent purpose.
Around that time our friend Will stopped by with his wife and we quickly put him to work. He helped pull a lot of the wires out.
Then I pulled out a fusebox thingy.
All the stuff we pulled out will be put in a bay on the opposite side.
Only a few million wires to go

Ah yes. . .let the destruction begin!! And, I know all those wires must get your knickers in a twist--I'd be afraid to throw electricity to it until I knew where they all went. Doesn't it feel good to get all the old stuff out and prep for the new.
Good luck and keep the pics coming--hopefully with no injuries!

Yeah, the mystery wires are a bit intimidating, I think we both dread tracking them down. Me especially cause I know only enough about electrical stuff to keep from getting a jolt. You're right though, it does feel good to get the old junk out. The goal is to never have to do this again. haha

To this particular bus you mean, right? lolsstrucinski wrote:The goal is to never have to do this again. haha
Hearing that people had converted more than one bus before, when we first started on our bus, I used to tease Art that "on our next bus, we'll do that a little different" .... but believe me, I don't say that any more! We survived, and don't think we'll push our luck!!
On the other hand, I would definitely relive the past 5 years on this bus!

Re: Jason and Stephanie's 1966 Silver Eagle 04
A second bus???????? Are you guys nuts!
I'm not buying a second one, because I've already been told that I need to redo/rearrange a few things I did before I met Becky! It'll seem like I'm doing the second one anyway! I just know how I put it together so I can take it apart!
I seem to remember miles and miles of wire when I stripped ours, removed all of it and put in new.
Are we havin' fun yet!
