Our Eagle project, Some more newbes here. 1984 model 10
OK my wife and I just purchased a 1984 eagle at a church auction last weekend. I dont know much about them yet and I havent even had time to find out what model it is yet. They gave us very little info on the bus at the auction. What I do know is that it has a detroit and a 5 spd tranny with the 3 spd rearend. It only has 126k on it! My wife and I cant waite to tear into it and get started on our conversion. I have to redo my driveway first tho so that I can even bring it home lol.
Please bear with us as we will have lots of questions along the way!
I will post a few pics later.

Eric, your bus went to Free Enterprise System in your state of IN on 2/84 along with it's sister 31229.
If you checkout the mall section here under 1976 05 Eagle for sale you will see another Eagle with your front end and windshield you have a nice looking bus .
I don't think you will find that you have a 3 speed rear end the other box you are looking at is a 1:1 dropbox and your engine will be a 6v92 TA engine and welcome to the board, fwiw the 3 speeds were available in the trucks with a tandem drive I had one back in early 70's
good luck
Clifford

Welcome!
As you have already found out, you will get lots of great information here. Keep on asking, have fun and be safe!
Just a thought, you might want to edit your title to reflect your model and year. Also in your signature, list where you are from if you feel OK with that. You never know when another Eagle owner might be close by.
