Re: How to post photos.
Another good prorgam, Google's Picasa is pretty easy for photos.
Free to download and install from http://picasa.google.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It will find images on your computer, so you just organize them on your computer in folders and it will create new albums for each folder by default. The organizing is all drag and drop. You can easily and quickly create captions, reorganize and hide images, and upload.
You can queue up a lot of images at one time for upload and it will run in the background while you do other things on your computer. You can choose the resolution of the images that you want to upload (or leave it as default) and it automatically creates thumbnails. You get several gigs of free space, but you can also purchase extra space for really cheap (like $5/year for 25 gigs).
It has several built in editing photos, but the easiest one is (Picture > Batch Edit >) I'm Feeling Lucky which applies automatic touch-up settings. You just select all of the images (CTRL+A) in the folder and select that option and it runs a batch on all of them.
Really easy to use. You can make your albums public or private. Once you upload your album, you can use http://www.tinyurl.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to create a simple custom URL to go to your images. For example: http://tinyurl.com/1970silvereagle" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
