Clifford, SilverLeaf furnishes a total system monitor/controller for some of the top of the line coaches.

The Monitor Panel is described at:
http://www.silverleafelectronics.com/?q=node/16

Driving that monitor is the Total Coach Manager:
http://tech.silverleafelectronics.com/?q=node/48

Those two are in the $3K range and then you can add a ton of modules including control of AquaHot, weather station, etc.

You mentioned Newell. Take a look at what they are using in the 2008 models:
http://tech.silverleafelectronics.com/?q=node/228

The Glass Dash is the VMS 640.

You are correct, I would sure love to get the dealer margin on just one coach :o

We are way off the subject, but it is kind of fun to see how advanced the technology is today. I should point out the all of the control and information is done with two twisted wires!

Gut feeling, it would be a huge project (and $$$$$) to set a bus up to have all of that capability.
