Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone knows the difference
Between an Allison ht740 and a ht747d
Haven't been able to get a solid answer on this
Even from our Allison dealers
Any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Allison trans differences
The HT747 (don't know what the D means) was just used in transit buses, and it has greater coolant flow, but was rated differently capacity-wise. The HT740 is still the best one for highway coaches, between the two.
