Bob,
I would suggest you contact Gary Bennett of B&B Coach in Las Vegas. He is very knowledgeable and helpful with this stuff.

Bob, they will work a MCI 8 had Ross steering, just be sure the pump goes back on mounted on the cam side it was removed from, those pumps are directional and the 2 cams spin in opposite directions. Some MCI 8 had a pump driven from the blower if they had a gear driven alternator

Bob, we have a lot of technical data on this site, but power steering conversion is not well documented. As you gather parts and do the conversion, will you please take some pictures and make some notes so that we can get some decent documentation?

Thanks

Jim

My Eagle had the Eaton Roller type pump not the Vickers vane type mounted in the lower right corner off a auxiliary drive,Nelson and Jim Smith's were the same and when Kaiser updated my steering box he used the same pump. Some guys use the pump off the IH trucks with the reservoir and pump all in 1 piece they work good too but it mounts on the left cam drive only
