OK folks, this thread might be having some issues. When I look at "view active topics" there appears to be a new request for some wiring schematics to be sent to poster (as viewed with Tapatalk) but it does not seem to appear on this version.

We need to be clear that the only set of schematics was sent to us by Joe Laird. The link to those schematics is in this thread and they can be easily downloaded.

Eagle electrical schematics are quite complicated since they have both the typical schematic and volumes of written discussions about each circuit. That is complicated by the fact that many Eagles had variations of the original design.

Joe's work is appreciated and is a good reference for other models, but it will not be a direct description for all models. The best option for other models is to obtain a maintenance manual for your model.

This has happened on different threads in the past. I have no clue as to why. As I say, I can see his post with my Tapatalk app on my phone but it does not show here.

In the past, I found some sort of magic solution, to rebuild the affected threads, but I can't remember how I did it. I am pretty sure I had to go to the database level, but I don't have the time to do that for this thread. Now, I just take the easy way out and create a new post. Sometimes that brings up the missing post and sometimes not.

Oh, the fun of forum software. I will be glad when James gets us updated on the phpbb software.

I am not sure what is going on here. Several places in this tread (mostly on page 2) are links to the schematic. It has been downloaded over 170 times. I just checked to make sure that the file exists and can be downloaded and it worked fine.

If anyone is having a problem downloading the file, please post it in a reply to this thread
