First trip 2004 turned in at that sign, not much more that a steel tent
but what fun. Still a work in progress. Don't know the second pick.

Primm was one of his better rallies they had a display of buses inside the building,I recall Ramblin Fever had a Dino for sale converted on a new shell with a series 60 for $325,000.00 that sold to a women, lol I wanted the new J4500 MCI that was parked outside

Primm was the second rally we attended. I was still in the conversion stage of our 05. If I remember correctly that was the first time Hal had his new coach out. It was not painted but it was there. The peach springs get together was the first time we took our 05 to a rally. Met Don Gourley and Larry Sterling and they signed me up to Eagles International. Haven't decided if that was good or bad. It along with the bus changed my life.

OK, I think a few folks have the mystery figured out. Both locations were sites of Bus Conversions Magazine rallies. I have been trying to piece together the years and locations of the rallies There were three at the Caverns (2004-2006 I think) and we were vendors at two of them. I think there might have been two at Primm.

Pat and I have been to all but one of the magazine sponsored rallies (the last one was held in TN in 2011). We missed the Biloxi rally.

Clifford is correct, Mike had his faults, but his rallies were pretty good. Indeed, the fist one in Laughlin NV ('94 I think) was an amazing event including great live music, wonderful seminars by the real experts and great facilities.

I took both of the photos this past couple of weeks on a trip that Pat and I have been on (no bus this time). Pat has wanted to stay pretty close to home because of the Kelly and Lisa's cancer treatments. They are at a stable situation right now, so we decided to "get the hell out of Dodge". I had a teaching assignment in the LA area two weeks ago and Pat has a convention in Salt Lake later this week. In between, we have been doing tourist type stuff including the beautiful Utah National Parks.

We only stopped at the Caverns, but stayed a night at the Buffalo Bill hotel in Primm. The Carverns has not changed much and Mike is still an owner. It is still pretty rough. The Primm locations have changed quite a bit. The campground is long gone. The hotel is almost like a ghost town. Almost nobody in the casino part. The rooms were OK and clean, but you could tell they had not been updated in a long time.

We were at both those rallies. I enjoyed all the Bus Conversion rallies but my favorite was Costa Mesa.
